A community project to bring a luscious inner-city parkland to life.
A Mini Central Park in the heart of the Valley.
A place for you to meet a friend, soak up the sun, catch an afternoon gig while enjoying a picnic or simply strolling through the themed gardens.
DOWNLOAD BLANK PARK MAPThe hub of music, entrepreneurship urban living & dining, the valley needs a spot where this all spills together.
The valley lacks greenspace. The nearest real park is new farm, over 2km away. 15,637 people would be within a 10 minute walk of this central park.
Beneath the surface lives a 40 thousand year story, from the indigenous history, to the agriculture history, to the history of the valley as a shopping district to now. A place needs to be built that helps tell this story for it.
Need a place to kick a ball, enjoy moonlight cinema, practice mindful meditation, enjoy the local food trucks with friends or host a live band? This space will have it all and be built for all.
Warm and fuzzy reason aside, adding parkland to a rapidly developing area helps improve property values, whilst increasing liveability and quality for life for all who work and live here.

Sign Our PetitionAfter witnessing another high-rise building being erected in the Valley, local resident Kellie Nealon started to wonder why there was no allocation of Green Space. Understanding that balance is key to any healthy organism, it was so apparent that the growing infrastructure of the Valley was not balanced and desperately needed an area that could be transformed to Green.
Kellie knew that it would need to be commercially viable before anyone would even listen, so she came up with a plan so unique and crazy that it actually made sense. She discussed her plan with anyone who would listen and one by one, people jumped on board to contribute.
2 years on and the plan is now an Association with 12 members all dedicated to giving a small piece of land back to the community so we can all enjoy the beauty and goodness of Mother nature in the City.
Now all we need is you! The more you get behind us, the quicker we will bring this dream to life.
These local small business have pledged ther support to this community park,so we invite you to support them in return.
And many of them are happy to say thanks by inviting supporters of the Strawberry Field project special discount. Mouse over each to find out what's on offer.
